1 June 2008. KL and mummy went shopping at Chinatown Point and saw a Thomas the train display. Took a picture with the set. He liked it very much and so, we waited a while for the shop to open. However, the train set is the last one, so we decided to get that set. $30. KL better appreciate it!

Sch Hols for Mummy? More for KL!
KL's occult fracture
24th May 2007, we were at the petrol kiosk when KL had a fall when he was alighting from the car. His daddy thought nothing of it but mummy was worried. KL seems alright but at the home carpark, he cried badly. Mummy thought it was better to send him to the hospital for an X ray but Daddy said why not go to the family clinic first? Well, the whole family then drove to the clinic where the doctor advised an Xray. So we drove to NUH. Can nyou believe it? There were 2 other cases of fractured arms. KL's fracture couldn't be seen on the X ray, so he had to have his arm in a cast for 2-3 weeks.

Kee Yen's first swim
Brought Yen on her first swim on 12 Feb 2008. She didn't really take to the water. Noticed the kooshies swim diaper she was wearing? It's passed down from Ken and mummy decided to get her a nicer swimming costume after that. So now she has a pink spaghetti swim costume :) Photos taken on 19 May 2008.

Happy Moments
It's the June Holidays!
Haven't been diligently updating. Ken Lin fractured his left arm the first day of my June holidays! Tripped and fell from the edge of my car while alighting at the petrol kiosk. Started wailing and daddy bent his hand and said that he's ok. However, mummy think otherwise and thought it's safer to bring him for an X ray. In the end, settled for the family doctor. He examined his hand and Ken Lin grimaced when he bent his elbow, so we brought him to NUH. That night, 2 others also fractured their left arm. What a coincidence! Thank gdness he didn't have to undergo surgery.

Latest Updates
Life hasn't been good really. Ken had his second fever seizure on 7 Mar. He was still alright when he was sent to childcare but was running a fever of 38.5 deg when I fetched him. Got a shock and rushed him home. After I fed him some fever medicine, he clenched his fits and went into seizures. He fell from the sofa and I rushed over to him. After a while, he stopped fitting and I called for the ambulance. I was praying his fever would subside for him to go to Auntie Wendy's wedding to be the pageboy but he was still running a fever the following day, so Mummy attended the wedding dinner alone.
On 9 Mar morning, received news of father-in-law's sudden death and quickly had him discharged. Worse still, Mummy fell sick and had to get the maid to care for Yen 24/7. After 4 days, she said she wanted to go home. What another blow. Got the airplane tickets on Friday and flew her back on Saturday. Hurriedly looked for a babysitter for Yen. Auntie Flora agreed and we were very thankful but who would have known, after 3 weeks, she said we'd better handle ourselves because Yen sticks to her all the time and she couldn't do her housework and cooking. She had agreed to care for her till my June hols start. I'm still mulling over what best to do. What a headache. I would be surprised if I didn't go into depression soon.

Christmas!
I miss you!
What a long time it has been since the last update. Have been caught up with work and preparing for Chinese New Year. Will try to catch up with the updating.
Went to Da bo's place to celebrate Christmas on the 24 Dec, a Monday. We brought a Logcake from Swensens. Yen was wearing a halter neck blouse with flowery pants. Ken Lin was happiest because Gabriel brought his Thomas and friends trains and shared with Ken Lin.

Yen is 8 months!
I'm so happy that she's now 8 months. Took her to her 8 month photoshoot yesterday (Mon, 14 Jan) at Pix n Portraits. She was a bit cranky but managed to take some nice pics. Can't wait for Daddy to make time to choose the pictures. Her head circumference is 43 cm, length 67 cm and weighs 8.2kg.
